Dare to thrill  In this video I personally think that the music was to loud covering most of the actors voices so that was a weakness and a strength would be how they do a tracking shot running towards the car and the ending left a shocking feeling towards the audience. One takeaway I took from this video was to make sure that the audio of the background music isn't louder than the actors. And also to make sure the quality of the video isn't to blurry or the camera isn't dirty.  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvMH-1XdR9c(Links to an external site.) Links to an external site. The blue boar In this video i enjoyed the singing which was really well done. But I didn't like how she automatically cut the whole original audio out and put the music when she should've done the original audio cutting off slowly as she adds the singing. I think one strength was her camera moveme...

#15 Brainstorm/Ideas

The film my group is working on is a drama about love and loss. The story is about a married couple whose lives change after a tragic accident. The opening scene starts with a Formula 4 race playing on the television. The husband is a race car driver, and his wife is watching the race from their house. The sounds of the race are exciting, while the wife sits quietly, focused on the screen.  During the race, the husband's car crashes badly. The car spins over and over the track until it finally stops. As the car is spinning, the sound of the race fades away as a heartbeat sounds start occurring. As the memories start to appear in the husband's mind slowly as he dies. These memories show happy moments from their relationship, such as laughing, together and spending quality time with each other. This helps the audience understand how close they were.  After the crash, it becomes clear that the husband died and is no longer breathing. The wife reacts with deep sadness and sh...

In all of these photos I've decided to do different angles and lightings in the first photo You can see that the character is sad looking back at a photo of her passed one reminiscing the past. this would most likely be a low shot. Next photo is an over the shoulder shot that shows one character giving a pack of cookies to the character from inside the door. The third photo was decided to show the emotion the character is feeling This shot would most likely be a close up shot / eye levelling. And lastly the fourth photo was to show the character watching tv on her couch. I chose to use this set up near the library tv screen and used the chair to make it more realistic on what I'm doing for the film. Lastly some skills that I could've worke...

Agent Carter extract from short film

Image
In the abstract agent, Carter, the audience must figure out what’s happening between two characters and what the scene is trying to show. This uses the Stuart Halls theory, so the audience can create their own meaning based on their own backgrounds and experience. with the audience mostly notice is how they personally use the world. Just how we can see the woman with the bright makeup and red lips after creating a soft tone for the audience.  As webeen moved into the abstract I used long take this was because the actors gave the audience more time to study the characters actions depending on the audience. They might see the actions different based on their personally experience. I also use deep focus, which keeps everything in frame sharpened and clear. This allows the audience to choose what details matter which supports the thesis theory that the audience chooses for themselves also, the lighting in the scene is bright to faded warm in which creates a mellow mood almost lik...
